Chantal's wildlife artworks are painted in her distinct contemporary style in either watercolour, acrylic or oil. She likes to bring out the personalities of animals, depicting them as anthropomorphic beings.

Contemporary Landscapes

Chantal paints her landscapes predominantly from real life as this allows her to capture the energy of the scene in order to evoke feeling in the viewer. Chantal carefully observes her surroundings to understand the emotional implications and physical nature which she represents with each stroke of paint. Her vibrant use of colour and loose brush work is distinct through all her subject matters.
